Taulignan is a lovely village with about 1600 inhabitants.
It is situated in the Rhône valley, in the southernmost part of the Drôme.
The village centre has a medieval wall around it.
There is a minimarket, bakery, butcher, restaurant and two bars.
Taulignan is known for its silk museum.
From Taulignan you can see the famous Mont Ventoux.
Ideal for walks in the adjacent nature reserve, but also for trips to Grignan, Nyons, Montelimar, Vaison-la-Romaine, Orange or Avignon. Marseille Airport is 1 hour and half drive away.
